On Friday, October 14, the San Francisco Bay ACC chapter will offer the Bay Area Clinic in a Box, which was developed by Corporate Pro Bono, a joint initiative of the ACC and the Pro Bono Institute.
It will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at DLA Piper Offices, 555 Mission Street, Suite 2400 in San Francisco.
Participants will begin the day with a two-hour training session from expert lawyers at DLA Piper about the legal issues that affect small businesses (they will receive the training material before the clinic). They will obtain CLE credit for the training portion of the clinic. They will then work with other in-house counsel to conduct a legal assessment of a local small business and will receive support from DLA Piper lawyers, who will be onsite throughout the clinic.
