Robert A. Zinn Appointed President Of Akerman Senterfitt

Akerman Senterfitt has created the office of president of the firm and the Board of Directors has appointed Robert A. Zinn to that position. As president, Mr. Zinn will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the firm. He will report to the chairman of the firm and Board of Directors, and his direct reports will include the executive director, office managing shareholders and practice group leaders.

Mr. Zinn has been serving as chief operating shareholder. In his new role, he will take on increased responsibilities for the operation of the firm.

Mr. Zinn joined Akerman in 1996 and was named managing shareholder of the Miami office in 2002. In 2005, he was named chief operating shareholder. His law practice is concentrated on corporate and international law, mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience advising clients in the automotive industry, and was previously owner of the Miami dealership, Zinn Mazda. While President of Akerman, he will continue to service his clients.

Mr. Zinn is a member of the American Bar Association and is admitted to The Florida Bar. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America 2007 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
