Holland & Knight LLP has announced that the firm has significantly expanded its Securities and M&A practices in South Florida with the addition of a group of three partners, Kara L. MacCullough, Laurie Green and Esther L. Moreno.

Ms. MacCullough and Ms. Moreno focus their practice in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions and international corporate transactions. Ms. Green brings unique experience and perspective having worked in the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission for 11 years prior to entering private practice.


Holland & Knight announced that Mark E. Baker, a leading labor and employment lawyer, will join the firm's northern Virginia office as partner. Mr. Baker has extensive experience representing employers in a wide array of labor and employment matters, ranging from representation in unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board to EEO, wrongful termination, employment benefits and breach of contract litigation before state and federal courts and agencies.


Holland & Knight has strengthened its legislative and regulatory practice with the arrival of former U.S. Representative Jim Davis (D-FL). Mr. Davis joins the firm's Tampa, FL and Washington, DC offices, and will play a major role providing strategic counsel to clients in the District of Columbia and across the country. The firm also welcomes Karl Koch, Mr. Davis' former chief of staff, who will be resident in the firm's Tampa and Washington, DC offices.
