Stradley Ronon Names ChairOf Firm's Diversity Group

Frances Gauthier, an attorney in Stradley Ronon's Wilmington office, was recently named chair of the firm's Diversity Group, a new position aimed at increasing diversity efforts.

As Diversity Chair, Ms. Gauthier will work with the Diversity Group to establish goals for the firm's hiring committee; develop a strategy to recruit diverse entry level and lateral attorney candidates; review work assignments, mentoring relationships and marketing opportunities to help improve retention of diversity attorneys, and create a plan to more effectively market and promote diversity attorneys to firm clients and prospects.

Ms. Gauthier represents private and public companies in corporate and commercial matters. She serves on the executive committee of the Delaware State Bar Association and co-chairs the American Bar Association's Section of Business Law Fellows and Ambassadors Committee. She is also secretary of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Delaware Chapter.

Karl S. Myers has joined the litigation department at Stradley Ronon. Based in the firm's Philadelphia office, Mr. Myers focuses his practice on a variety of civil trial and appellate litigation matters. Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Mr. Myers was a litigator at Saul Ewing and served as a law clerk for the Hon. Russell M. Nigro of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Shirin Heidary has joined the business law department at Stradley Ronon. Stevens & Young, LLP. Based in the firm's Philadelphia office, Ms. Heidary focuses her practice on commercial finance and other general business matters. Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Ms. Heidary was an associate at Withers Bergman, LLP and an investment management associate at Credit Suisse Private Banking USA.
