Former Federal ProsecutorJoins Coudert Brothers LLP In NYC

Coudert Brothers LLP has announced the addition of a white collar and antitrust criminal prosecutor with the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in New York to its Global Antitrust Practice and its Global Litigation Practice. Douglas Tween, a trial lawyer with the U.S. Department of Justice for 14 years, joined the firm's New York office in March.

Mr. Tween's primary practice at Coudert will involve white collar criminal defense, with an emphasis on criminal antitrust defense. His criminal antitrust experience includes price fixing and bid rigging conspiracies in complex cases involving a multitude of corporate and individual defendants and millions of documents. Mr. Tween also has significant experience in dealing with cases of wire and mail fraud, tax evasion, money laundering and obstruction of justice.

Coudert Brothers also has announced that U.S. Employment and Labor Law Practice Head Darrell Gay has been named "Lawyer of the Year" by the New York Metropolitan Black Bar Association. The award ceremony will take place at the MBBA's 21st anniversary award dinner on May 12 at New York City's Bridgewaters.

Mr. Gay currently manages and oversees employment and labor law issues for clients such as Sears, Marriott International, IKON Office Solutions, Direct TV, Black Entertainment Television (BET) and Time Warner. In his two years as head of the practice group, Mr. Gay has also worked with clients with issues in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
