Alyssa Grikscheit Joins Goodwin ProcterAs A Partner In Firm's New York Office

Goodwin Procter LLP has announced the addition of Alyssa Grikscheit to the firm's Corporate and Private Equity practices. She joins the firm as a partner in the New York office.
Ms. Grikscheit focuses her practice on representing domestic and foreign clients making investments in the United States and other countries. She also represents buyers and sellers, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies. Her practice includes experience in securities law, licensing and general corporate law.
Goodwin partner Paul W. Lee, a member of the Business Law Department, has been recognizedby the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Law Foundation for his service to that organization's programs to benefit the Asian Pacific American legal community. This award is in recognition of Mr. Lee's continuing support of the NAPABA Law Foundation, as well as his generous gift that allowed for the creation of the NAPABA Partners Community Law Fellowship in 2004.
Goodwin Procter also has promoted Jasmine Trillos-Decarie to director of marketing. She joined the firm in 1999 as marketing manager and was promoted to senior marketing manager in 2003.
Ms. Trillos-Decarie specializes in developing integrated marketing plans for a diverse group of practices and oversees the practice area and industry marketing initiatives firmwide.She will continue to work closely with Goodwin Procter's chief marketing officer, Anne Malloy Tucker, on firmwide marketing projects.
Katie Rutter has joined the firm as senior marketing manager for the Technology Companies and Life Sciences Practices.
Goodwin Procter also announced that Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has named Christopher D. Moore, a partner in the firm's Litigation Department, as chair of Massachusetts' 21-member Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC). The JNC's purpose is to identify and review all prospective judges for appointment.Mr. Moore will be joining another of the firm's litigation partners, Roberto Braceras, who has served on the JNC since February 2004.
