Norris Attorney Appointed TrusteeFor NJ Client Protection Fund

James H. Laskey, a member of the Somerville, NJ-based firm of Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., has been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the position of trustee for the New Jersey Lawyers Fund for Client Protection.

As a trustee, Mr. Laskey will help administer and operate the Fund, which is an entity of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. First established by the New Jersey State Bar Association in 1961, the Fund is financed entirely by attorneys admitted to practice in New Jersey, and exists to reimburse clients who have suffered a loss due to dishonest conduct of a member of the New Jersey Bar. Mr. Laskey will served as a trustee for a five-year term.

Mr. Laskey concentrates his practice in administrative and government regulatory law, including public utility, antitrust, health care and telecommunications issues.
