Stradley Partner Selected Among Best Lawyers In America Real Estate Law

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP has announced that David F. Scranton has been selected as part of the Best Lawyers in America Real Estate Law.

Mr. Scranton, a partner in the firm's Business Department, focuses his practice on financial services and real estate and is resident in the Malvern, PA office. Before joining Stradley Ronon, he was counsel for Girard Bank (Mellon Bank), resident counsel for Southeast National Bank in Malvern, and vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary for Fidelity Bank.

The Best Lawyers in America list, which is widely regarded as the pre-eminent referral guide to the legal profession, is compiled through an exhaustive confidential peer review survey. The current 10th edition of Best Lawyers (2003-2004) is based on more than 350,000 detailed evaluations.


Stradley Ronon also has announced that 18 of its attorneys have been named to Philadelphia magazine's list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers 2004.

In addition, Stradley Ronon partner C. Clark Hodgson Jr., who handles securities and litigation, and Ben Picker, who specializes in alternative dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration, were chosen as Top 100 Philadelphia Super Lawyers. Mr. Hodgson also is a member of the Top 100 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.

Stradley Ronon has added two new directors: Gary Bagin as director of marketing and client relations, and Kevin Nigro as director of human resources.

Mr. Bagin will lead the firm's marketing, communications and business development efforts. He brings more than 13 years of marketing and public relations experience to the firm. He was most recently responsible for marketing, public relations and advertising at LRP Publications/Jury Verdict Research.

Mr. Nigro will oversee the firm's human resources responsibilities for administrative and support personnel including recruiting, policies and procedures, and employee relations. Mr. Nigro joins the firm from Accpac, Inc., where he was director of human resources.
