British Publisher Gives High MarksTo Riker Danzig

Morristown, NJ-based law firm Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP has announced that a number of the firm's partners were ranked as "America's Leading Lawyers for Business" by Chambers & Partners, a UK legal publishing and recruiting company, in its book, Chambers USA America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2004, The Client's Guide.

Of the four practice areas that were researched by Chambers in New Jersey, Riker Danzig ranked in the top three in all practice areas. Ranking was made following extensive research by Chambers with business people and lawyers across the country to determine which firms and attorneys are considered leaders in their field.

Riker Danzig was ranked first in the state for General Commercial Litigation, naming partner Gerald A. Liloia second, partner Glenn A. Clark third, and partner Anne M. Patterson third among commercial litigators. The Chamber's Guide noted that Riker Danzig's Litigation Group is "very thorough - one of the best finds in North America."Mr. Liloia was widely recommended for his banking litigation work, Mr. Clark was described as a "fantastic lawyer," and Ms. Patterson is "developing an excellent reputation" for her work in products liability.

In the area of Real Estate, Riker Danzig was ranked second in the state, naming partner Victoria A. Morrison second among real estate attorneys. Clients commended Riker Danzig's Real Estate Group for "really wanting to get the deals done" and described Ms. Morrison as an "effective attorney with a broad set of skills."

The firm was ranked third in the state for Corporate/MA work, naming partner Andrew J. Stamelman third among corporate attorneys. Clients are attracted to the Corporate Group's "effective and proactive attorneys, who provide sound commercial advice," and described Mr. Stamelman as "the quintessential tax attorney in the state right now - at the absolute top of his field."

In the area of Employment law, Riker Danzig was ranked third in the state, naming partner Michael K. Furey second among employment attorneys. Those interviewed were impressed by the Employment Group's "good-quality advice and value for the money," and said Mr. Furey does a "fantastic job" in providing clear and considered advice.
