Anderson Kill Promotes Carrie Maylor DiCanio to Shareholder

Anderson Kill P.C. is pleased to announce that Carrie Maylor DiCanio, an attorney practicing in the firm's New York office, has been promoted to shareholder.

Ms. DiCanio is a member of the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group and Corporate and Commercial Litigation Group and is co-chair of Anderson Kill's Women's Network. She has recovered valuable insurance proceeds for corporate policyholders in state and federal courts throughout the United States and advised clients extensively on pre-litigation insurance matters. She has represented global retailers, financial services companies, technology companies, energy companies and governmental entities in D&O, environmental, product liability and property claims. Ms. DiCanio also has represented telecom companies, global manufacturers and hedge funds in antitrust and securities matters.

Ms. DiCanio started at Anderson Kill as a Summer Associate in 2007 and then joined the firm as a member of the Class of 2008 after graduating from law school.

Ms. DiCanio holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Cardozo Law Review, and a B.A. with Honors from Vassar College.
