Proskauer has announced the release of The New Health Care Reform Law: What Employers Need to Know (A Q&A Guide), a definitive handbook for managers on the sweeping changes brought about by the new United States health care reform law.

Authored by two of the leaders of the firm's national Health Care Reform Task Force - Paul M. Hamburger, Partner and head of the DC Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation & ERISA Litigation Practice Center, and James R. Napoli, Senior Counsel in the Practice Center - the practical Q&A-style guide addresses the myriad challenges now facing employers and benefits advisers in connection with health insurance coverage and related employee benefits, employment law and other legal issues.

"This book is a natural extension of the Task Force's efforts to help managers make well-informed, strategic decisions for their companies and employees as the new health care regulations take effect," said Mr. Hamburger. "This comprehensive guide is a go-to resource that details the key issues every HR and benefits manager should know about this very complex law."

Also contributing material to the new guide were Task Force members Todd Castleton, Tzvia Feiertag, Eugene Holmes, Stephen Mogila, Lynda Noggle, and Austen Townsend.
