Lowenstein Sandler Adds Warren Racusin To Chair Trusts & Estates Practice Group

Lowenstein Sander has announced the addition of Warren K. Racusin as member of the firm and chair of its Trusts & Estates practice group. Mr. Racusin joins from McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP, where he was a partner and chair of its Private Client Services group.

Mr. Racusin, 56, has more than three decades of diversified experience in estate planning and administration, including planning for executives, entrepreneurs, owners of private companies, and other high net worth individuals; charitable planning; designing prenuptial and divorce agreements; and estate and trust litigation.

A Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel, Mr. Racusin previously served as chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and chair of the Trusts and Estates Committee of the Morris County Bar Association. He is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

Lowenstein Sandler attorneys Michael B. Himmel, Lawrence A. Spector and Alice B. Stock have been named to the 2009 edition of New York Super Lawyers, an annual listing of the New York metro area's top five percent of leading lawyers in more than 75 practice areas.

Michael B. Himmel, recognized for his work in the Criminal Defense: White Collar practice area, is a member of the firm and chair of Lowenstein Sandler's Litigation Department and the White Collar Criminal Defense practice. He has developed a national practice in white collar criminal defense including areas such as tax fraud, securities fraud, political corruption, antitrust, bank fraud, and environmental matters.

Lawrence A. Spector, recognized for his work in the Business/Corporate practice area, is a Member of the Firm and practices in the Tech Group. He has 25 years of experience representing clients in connection with venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities.

Alice B. Stock, recognized for her work in the Employment & Labor practice area, is a member of the firm, co-chairs Lowenstein Sandler's Employment practice and chairs its Immigration practice. She represents management in virtually all aspects of labor and employment law, employment litigation and business immigration law.

Steven B. Fuerst Esq., member of the firm at Lowenstein Sandler, has been named the Somerset County Bar Association's 2009 Professional Lawyer of the Year.The annual award is presented to an attorney who is committed to the ideals of professionalism and is well recognized in the legal community for character and competence.

Mr. Fuerst has more than 30 years of experience representing closely held business organizations and their owners as general counsel and business adviser, and is particularly well-versed in mergers and acquisitions and business divorces. Mr. Fuerst previously served as chair of the firm's Real Estate practice group and has extensive experience in real estate development, financing, leasing, conveyancing, foreclosure, receiverships and other related areas. He has represented businesses in diverse sectors, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, health care, environmental consulting, professional services firms, real estate, telecommunications, wholesale distribution and retail sales.
