The program will feature panel discussions with senior officials from the SEC and the DOJ; updates since the passage of Dodd-Frank; breakout sessions focused on new financial reform legislation; and strategies for practitioners when representing clients under investigation, indicted clients and clients during appeals. Breakout session topics on Thursday include Cooperation: benefits and risks for individuals and entities; FCPA prosecutions of individuals: a frank discussion; E-discovery and securities fraud; The financial crisis: intersection of mortgage and securities fraud; and SEC Jeopardy: broker dealers and investment advisors in the SEC gauntlet.

Two plenary sessions follow on Friday: Criminal referrals: triggers and tipping points and Prosecutorial discretion: charging, settling and prosecuting – public interest limitations?
