This program will present a comprehensive analysis of legal issues of concern to nonprofit organizations. It will benefit attorneys and key representatives of nonprofit organizations, including board members, executive directors, chief financial officers, accountants, and representatives of governmental agencies. Program highlights include  a 2012 tax law update; politics 2012: shifting sands-politics & nonprofits; employment law; real estate law: an overview for tax exempt organizations; digital information compliance for nonprofits; working with volunteers; ethical obligations of attorneys; anatomy of employee embezzlement -- case histories, district attorney involvement and avoidance techniques.
