The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has been seeking to promote the relevance of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in most private workplaces, particularly those with employees who are not in a union. The seminar will address the NLRA’s interplay with the new and expanding use of social media, limiting the rights of employers to head off class actions, shortening the time before union elections are held and requiring the posting of employee rights in all covered workplaces. The NLRB is becoming more aggressive in enforcement of regulations and this session will discuss the significant impact these developments continue to have on most private sector employers.
