Join the Voice of the Defense Bar (DRI) Wednesday through Friday, April 25 through 27, for the Life, Health, Disability and ERISA Claims Seminar.

The event will be held at the Swissotel, 3232 East Wacker Drive in Chicago on Wednesday from 12:30 to 4 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The seminar will feature 18 sessions addressing issues in life, health, disability and ERISA. Attendees may concentrate on one class or change classes by moving between the hour-long segments. The sessions will allow participants to go beyond the case holdings and gain practical guidance from industry experts including Cesar R. Britos, assistant vice president and senior counsel, Unum Group; Amy T. Hudson, The Hartford; Richard J. Marquez, managing director, Diligence International Group LLC; Hon. Nan R. Topics include an advanced look at ERISA and the impact of CIGNA Corp. v. Amara; the emerging regulatory and legal issues surrounding escheatment; and multi-faceted comparison-based views of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
