Intended to provide a strong foundation and discussion of current and proposed intellectual property protection for designs, the program is useful for in-house counsel as well as attorneys representing small, individual designers.

The program will be divided into five segments, each exploring an essential component of this area of the law: Available Protection under Existing Laws; Particular IP Challenges in the Apparel & Fashion Industries; Comparative IP Protection law in the Apparel Industry: United States & Europe; Strategies for Overcoming Shortfalls in Protection Under Existing US Laws; and Proposed U.S. Legislation for IP Protection of Apparel & Fashion.
