Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with female lawyers from all over the U.S. and Canada. They will hear about the changes in-house counsel face and how outside counsel can become their most trusted advisors and learn how to improve trial skills as a female lawyer.

Attendees will get advice from in-house attorneys on how to prepare an in-depth initial case assessment; how to take a great deposition; the secrets to picking the right jury; tips and tricks to win the work; how to market yourself by being yourself; and what Hollywood can teach us about ethics. Among the offerings are Getting the Power You Need to Lead with Linda Bray Chanow, Center for Women in Law, University of Texas School of Law; How to Pick a Jury in the Facebook Era with Lori G. Cohen, Greenberg Traurig LLP; and a corporate counsel roundtable with Evelyn H. Brantley, DuPont Legal.  A discussion about exploring diversity will be led by Vernā Myers, Vernā Myers Consulting Group LLC, and a panel discussion with advice from in-house attorneys on how to manage a new matter in a shifting legal environment will include Tonya L. Lewis, Shell Oil Co., and Alane Barnes, BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc.
