On Monday and Tuesday, September 26 and 27, Association of Corporate Counsel and Boston University will host a seminar titled Leading Innovation & Change: The Evolving Role of In-House Counsel. The three-day class will be located at The Executive Leadership Center at Boston University School of Management, 595 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. The daily agenda is being finalized, check the website for updates.

The evolving global economy has affected organizations in many ways. As in-house counsel, practitioners need to stay ahead of the game and take up new roles to lead innovation and changes. This program will teach participants how to realign the organizational structure to respond to industry changes; how to cultivate, mentor, and manage high performance teams; and how to drive innovations in your company and create cultures of innovation and collaborations.

In this program attendees will: address the sources of economic value and the methods used to capture value; learn to identify the challenges of realigning the organizational structure in order to respond to industry changes, and the obstacles that such internal transformation may encounter; learn how to form, cultivate, and manage teams;  understand how business model transformation can help firms create an edge organization that maximizes innovation; and explore the structures and dynamics of negotiation, conflict, and power in organizations and the value of collaborative environments.
