PBI Offers Negotiation Skills Course

On Wednesday, August 10, The Pennsylvania Bar Institute is offering a program Gain the Edge! Negotiation Strategies for Lawyers at the PBI CLE Conference Center at the Wanamaker Building in central Philadelphia. The program will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

Attorneys negotiate on a regular basis; in fact negotiation ability may be the most critical skill a lawyer can possess. This seminar will help participants approach negotiations with a strategic mindset. The instructor, Marty Latz, is a renowned negotiation expert and founder of the Latz Negotiation Institute. She has trained over 50,000 lawyers and business professionals to negotiate more effectively. Topics under discussion will include Latz's Five Golden Rules of Negotiation; Ways to Gain Leverage When Seemingly Powerless; Tactics to Generate Creative Solutions; Secrets to Success in Emotionally Charged Negotiations; and How to Keep Options Open While Building Future Relationships.
