The firm of Seyfarth Shaw LLP has scheduled its 2004 labor and employment law symposium titled Forty Years After Title VII: Where We Are and Where We Are Going in several locations this month and next.

Programs will take place on Friday, October 15 at the Seaport World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston; on Thursday, October 21 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, 9641 Sunset Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA, and on Wednesday, November 10 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, 301 East North Water Street, Chicago.

Some of the workshop topics at the programs will include: Cures for ADA and FMLA Frustrations; How Your Benefit Plans Stack Up for 2005; Recent Developments in Employment Discrimination Law; Life Under the New FSLA Regulations: What We Have Learned and What Lies Ahead; The Changing Face of Unionization of America; Big Brother Is Watching - Balancing Business Needs and Workplace Privacy; Corporate Compliance and Social Responsibility, and The Proliferation of Class and Collective Actions - The Eight Figure Dilemma.

Among the speakers are: Leslie E. Silverman, EEOC commissioner; Charles Ogletree, professor, Harvard Law School; Randel Johnson, vice president, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Joseph Sellers, Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll.
