For three days, from Friday to Sunday, September 24 to 26, the Los Angeles County Bar Association will host the 2010 Annual Seminar for Corporate Counsel.

The seminar will be held at the Temecula Creek Inn, 44501 Rainbow Canyon Road in Temecula, CA. It will include CLE events, golf, tennis and spa activities, wine-tasting, sight-seeing and a visit to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It will be a great opportunity to learn and network in a fun environment, and participants are urged to bring their spouse/family.

The seminar will begin with registration at noon on Friday. The first panel will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by a full afternoon of MCLE sessions, including Update on Privacy and Data Security Issues - Corporate Best Practices; Handling Whistleblowers and Other Ethical Dilemmas Facing Corporate Counsel; and Legal Perils & Best Practices for Social Media. The day will end with a hosted cocktail reception at 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the program continues with MCLE panels covering No More Sexual Harrassment! Respect in the Workplace; E-Discovery Tips for In-House Counsel; and Practical Tips for Doing Business Abroad. Saturday afternoon is a chance to enjoy leisure time, and then a dinner program on Saturday evening, which will start with commentary and perspectives from Dennis Codon, partner, Blank Rome LLP and former general counsel of UNOCAL. He will introduce featured speakers Josh Tickell and Rebcecca Harrell Tickell, who will share their thoughts and clips from their current project, SPILL, with footage from their recent trip to the Gulf oil spill. The Tickells are award-winning filmmakers of the documentary FUEL, which won an Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival and opened in theaters in June.

Saturday evening includes a casual dinner and awards and prize giveaways.
