Handling Bankruptcy Court Cases

On Friday, September 26 from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the MCLE program titled How to Handle Consumer Bankruptcies: Learn the Latest Law, Practice and Attorneys' Responsibilities will take place in Milstein Hall, Boston.

An expert faculty will include Gary L. Donahue, U.S. Trustee Office, Boston, Pamela A. Harbeson, Looney & Grossman LLP and Anne J. White, Klieman, Lyons, Schindler & Gross.

They will explore how to apply the "means test" and the other eligibility requirements of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005; how to propose a confirmable Chapter 13 plan; what it takes to obtain a Chapter 7 discharge; and what creditors and landlords can do during the bankruptcy case.
