Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 00:00

Voluntary and Involuntary Reductions In Force will be discussed by Johathan D. Wetchler, WolfBlock, at a seminar sponsored by the WolfInstitute.

The program will be held on Tuesday, June 10 at the WolfInstitute Training Center, 250 Park Avenue, New York City, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

A reduction in force can have a significant impact upon any organization's ability to function, not only during but also after implementation. In order for reductions in force and reorganization to achieve both the economic savings and business results desired, they must be properly structured and implemented. The failure to do so results in a risk of costly multiple litigations and a dysfunctional business. This seminar will focus on the practical application of the legal and human resource principles that will enable organizations to conduct a successful reduction in force to help minimize legal risk and increase organizational effectiveness.
